I’m a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and was a member of the fraternal order of those who knew the first two movies line for line [Turtles Back in Time was wack]. Recently, one of the highlights from the London Toy Fair was these new NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Action Figures and it’s about time that the TMNT franchise got a decent set of collectible figures.

The figures, based on the original comic drawings of Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, are unlike the Turtles you’ve grown to know and love. All wearing the red mask, Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael all feature their accompanying weapon upon a gritty NYC backdrop. There are also hints of Black and White versions. Expect these to drop into stores in April [no pun intended] for less then $20 a piece.
