Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect Sneakers

Reebok is set to release a slew of sneakers with a…sit tight…Monopoly inspiration. That’s right. Now, I’m willing to admit that I love Monopoly more than a grown man probably should, so much so that I have not one, but two, Monopoly games tucked under my bed. But seriously, where is the correlation? Assuming I get past that, just look at these things! It’s no wonder why Reebok will perpetually be playing 2nd-3rd-4th fiddle to other companies when you realize that there will be at least 11 different Monopoly designs for men, women, and children. Like the above pair of Reverse Jams for men and kid’s. Kiss that $10 second prize from the beauty contest goodbye!

There’s some more of the Reverse Jams for men and kids. It’s almost even more frustrating to see the Monopoly tie in when you consider how clean some of these shoes would be without Uncle Pennybags hanging around.

Women’s Courtees in mid and low tops don’t show any more promise. If you want a chance to laugh at these in person, check shops later this month, with some designs making their way to stores in November. Or just wait until they hit outlets around Christmas.

listen these sneaker designs and colors are getting out of hand, who and their right mind would wear something like that. what happen to a sneaker with regular colors , have a monopoly stlye sneaker looks really ridiculous and i bet you will see a grown ass man with them on and think he’s cool.
