The bloggers at The5thdoor.com represent a collective of minds that influence nonconformity and a lifestyle which they call the “Urban Adventurers’ Creed“. They encourage others to experience the 5th door which they define as a revolving door that is open to both norm and unconventional ideas to essentially open the minds of those who are brave enough to take risks which inevitably puts their fate into their own hands.

As part of the Toyota project, each blogger was asked to select a charity for Toyota to donate $10,000. Our first blogger is Chef Roble who statement is to fuse food and hip-hop. Chef Roble chose ‘Guns 4 Cameras‘ which guns are exchanged for camera equipment to teach children about careers in film and photography. CJ Peters handles the gaming for the site. CJ supports the Ludacris Kids Foundation that serves to empower youth and their families while fostering economic growth in low-income communities. Next on the 5th Door list is a writer and director James Spooner. James supports the Myrtle Avenue Commercial Revitalization and Development Project whose mission is to restore the “Main Street” of the Fort Greene and Clinton Hill communities in Brooklyn to a bustling, economically vital neighborhood commercial corridor that provides entrepreneurial, cultural, recreational, and employment opportunities for all those who live, work, study or have an interest in the area. Jimmy Mac brings the 5th Door into his world of BMX riding. The charity Jimmy Mac is an advocate of is the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, which teaches youth how to build business. Last on the list is Ouigi in his spare time, Ouigi gives back to the community by supporting Stoked Mentoring a non-profit organization for at risk youth with the mission of developing Successful Teens with Opportunity, Knowledge, Experience, and Determination through the use of action sports (snowboarding, skateboarding, and surfing), mentoring, and coaching.

The 5th Door Bloggers and Nooka also joined together to create unique timepieces in which each blogger inspired the design of. These timepieces are special edition and available for a limited time only.
