Here is a new brand coming from the Bay Area in California called Imperium Empire. They just launched their website last night and also will be opening up their pop-up shop at Invisible Stripes on Sunday, June 28th. This Saturday, Tradition and Soul Assassins present ‘The Takeover‘. They’ve enlisted the entire SA family for this event, and they will have DJ sets from DJ Muggs and Mr. Choc, as well as performances from Sick Jacken of Psycho Realm, Self Scientific, Strong Arm Steady, Young De, as well as some very special guests. They will also be releasing their limited edition Soul Assassins x Tradition collaboration tee, hosting a Soul Assassins pop-up shop, and having the opening reception of Chase Tafoya’s ‘Face 2 Face‘ artshow. This event happens to coincide with Tradition’s 2 year anniversary as well, so expect some big things and some surprises! Early arrival is suggested and capacity is limited! Tradition will be hosting two big events this Saturday, November 22nd. The first event is the Akomplice season 9 release party. They pulled out the big guns for this event, and aside from an Akomplice Pop-up shop, drinks, and a DJ, they’ve enlisted Raekwon, legendary member of the Wu-Tang Clan to do a special performance!
To make things even crazier they will be releasing a limited Raekwon X Tradition X Akomplice tee the day of the event, with a super limited colorway available only that night! They will also be hosting the opening reception of the “On Deck” art show featuring art on skateboards from some of the top names in the L.A. graffiti scene and beyond!
